Terms of Service
Last updated: September 29, 2026
1. Who You Are Contracting With
DMV.ai ("DMV.ai," "we," "us," or "the Service") is operated by Wise Prince LLC, 13319 Poway Road, Unit 444, Poway, CA 92064 ("Wise Prince," the "Seller"). You are contracting with Wise Prince LLC. When DMV.ai Incorporated completes its formation, these Terms will automatically apply between you and DMV.ai Incorporated as successor, without any further action required. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms, and "you" refers to that organization. If you are an individual, you represent that you are at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction.
2. What DMV.ai Is — and Is Not
DMV.ai is an independent, private information and preparation service. It is not a government agency, is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any state DMV or government body, and is not a law firm. Nothing on the Service constitutes legal, financial, or professional advice.
DMV.ai provides general guidance, checklists, practice materials, and preparation worksheets. DMV.ai never submits, files, or transmits any application, document, or payment to any government agency on your behalf, and never books appointments for you. The Service stops at preparation and guidance. You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and submitting any materials to the appropriate authorities.
Documents and worksheets generated by DMV.ai are not official government forms. They are private preparation drafts only. Official forms must be obtained from the relevant state authority.
3. No Guarantee of Accuracy or Outcome
Motor-vehicle rules, fees, forms, and requirements change frequently and vary by state and locality. Although we work to keep information current and cite official sources where available, DMV.ai makes no warranty or representation that any information, AI-generated response, checklist, or guide is complete, accurate, current, or applicable to your situation. AI-generated content may be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. You assume full responsibility for verifying all information with the official agency before acting on it.
We do not guarantee that any application, registration, title transfer, test, or transaction will be accepted, approved, or completed by any agency. Any outcome is solely between you and the agency.
4. Your Content and Your Responsibility for It
You are solely responsible for anything you type, upload, or otherwise provide to the Service ("Your Content"), and for how you use any output the Service produces. You represent and warrant that:
- You have the legal right to provide Your Content and it does not violate any law or any third party's rights (including privacy, publicity, and intellectual property rights).
- Your Content is accurate to the best of your knowledge, and you will not rely on the Service to verify it.
- You will not provide another person's sensitive personal information (such as Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, or vehicle identification numbers) without legal authority to do so.
We do not review, verify, or endorse Your Content, and we take no responsibility for it. Any decisions you make, forms you complete, or submissions you send to any agency based on Your Content or the Service's output are entirely your own.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service. You will not:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, fraud, or spam;
- Attempt to probe, scan, disrupt, or compromise the Service or its security, or introduce malware;
- Scrape, bulk-copy, or systematically extract content from the Service;
- Reverse engineer the Service or circumvent any technical limits;
- Infringe any intellectual property rights;
- Resell, redistribute, or white-label the Service without written permission;
- Use the Service to prepare false, misleading, or fraudulent submissions to any government agency;
- Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any agency or organization.
6. Accounts and Credentials
If you create an account, you must provide accurate information and keep it updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at legal@dmv.ai if you suspect unauthorized use.
7. Intellectual Property and License
All content, software, design, trademarks, and branding comprising the Service are the property of DMV.ai or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for its intended personal or internal business purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of the Service without express written permission.
You retain ownership of Your Content. You grant us a limited license to host and process Your Content solely as needed to operate and provide the Service to you.
8. Third-Party Sites and Agencies
The Service links to official government agency websites and other third-party sites. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, availability, accuracy, or practices. Your dealings with any agency or third party, including any payments you make to them, are solely between you and them.
8A. Payments, Billing, and Our Reseller
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Paid offerings (such as the Concierge service) are one-time purchases: a DMV.ai service fee plus any applicable government fees, which are set by and paid to the relevant agency and are never our revenue. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms, in addition to these Terms and our Refund Policy.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITH ALL FAULTS. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AND ANY WARRANTY THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DMV.AI, ITS OPERATOR, AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OPPORTUNITY, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE — INCLUDING ANY GOVERNMENT FEES, PENALTIES, FINES, DELAYS, REJECTIONS, OR MISSED DEADLINES RESULTING FROM RELIANCE ON THE SERVICE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the fullest extent the law allows.
11. Indemnification
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless DMV.ai, its operator, and its officers, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) Your Content; (b) your use or misuse of the Service; (c) your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right; (d) any application, form, document, or information you submit to any government agency or third party; or (e) any false, inaccurate, or fraudulent information you provide through or based on the Service.
12. Dispute Resolution, Arbitration, and Class Action Waiver
Please read this section carefully — it affects your legal rights.
Informal resolution first. Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us at legal@dmv.ai and give us at least 30 days to try to resolve the dispute informally.
Binding arbitration. If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court or seek injunctive relief for intellectual-property misuse. The arbitrator may award the same remedies a court could. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Class action and jury trial waiver. YOU AND DMV.AI AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, COLLECTIVE, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. THE ARBITRATOR MAY NOT CONSOLIDATE MORE THAN ONE PERSON'S CLAIMS. YOU AND DMV.AI EACH WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL.
Opt-out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing legal@dmv.ai within 30 days of first accepting these Terms, stating that you opt out of arbitration. Opting out does not affect any other part of these Terms.
Some jurisdictions do not allow class-action waivers or mandatory arbitration for certain claims; where that is the case, this section applies to the fullest extent the law allows.
13. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. For any dispute not subject to arbitration, the exclusive venue will be the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, and you consent to their personal jurisdiction.
14. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, unlawful use, or repeated or serious policy violations. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive (including Sections 4, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13) survive termination.
15. General
Changes. We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated through the Service.
Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, corporate formation, or sale of assets.
Force majeure. We are not liable for any delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
Severability and waiver. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect, and the provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and DMV.ai regarding the Service.
