Know where you stand before you sign up.
These are the documents that govern your use of DMV.ai. We encourage every visitor to read them before creating an account. Creating an account means you agree to the Terms of Service and acknowledge the Privacy Policy.
The two documents that matter
The waivers, in plain English
These summaries are here to help you understand the Terms. The full Terms of Service is the binding document — if a summary and the Terms ever differ, the Terms control.
Individual arbitration & class-action waiver
Disputes are resolved one-on-one through binding arbitration (AAA Consumer Arbitration Rules), not in class or group actions. You can opt out within 30 days by emailing legal@dmv.ai. Small-claims court stays available.
Limitation of liability
DMV.ai is an information and preparation service. Our total liability is capped, and we're not responsible for government fees, penalties, delays, or rejections. Some states limit these caps, so they apply to the fullest extent the law allows.
You're responsible for what you submit
You own your content and are responsible for its accuracy and for anything you file with an agency. DMV.ai never submits, files, or pays anything to a government agency on your behalf.
An honest note
DMV.ai is a private company, not a government agency, and not a law firm. Nothing on this page or anywhere on DMV.ai is legal advice. Some states limit waivers and liability caps no matter what terms say — where that's the case, our Terms apply to the fullest extent the law allows. Questions about these documents? Email legal@dmv.ai.
