- Update your license/ID (free): Online at secure.dol.wa.gov, or mail form 500-039 to Driver and Vehicle Records, PO Box 9030, Olympia WA 98507.
- Address rules: Your residence can't be a PO box, mail forwarding or out-of-state address.
- New card (fee): Order online or bring the form to a driver licensing office.
- Update vehicles and boats separately: Online through License Express, or at a vehicle licensing or Quick Title office. Each vehicle is updated individually; financed vehicles go through the lienholder.
- New title or registration (optional): Not issued automatically; available for a fee.
