- Within 30 days: For your license, permit, ID and vehicle records.
- Update each record: Vehicle and license records aren't connected. Updating your registration also updates the title record.
- License/ID online: At mydmv.vermont.gov choose 'Change Address on My License' and give two forms of ID. Online changes require a new credential.
- License/ID by mail or in person: Complete form VL-021 and mail it with fees to Vermont DMV, Montpelier, or book a visit.
- Vehicle online: In myDMV choose 'Update My Address'.
- Vehicle by mail or in person: Complete form VD-040 and mail it with fees, or book a visit.
