- Report within 10 days: License holders must notify DMV within ten days.
- Update online: For an RI license, ID, permit or CDL. Your record updates, but no new registration is sent automatically.
- Or by mail or in person: Mail the Change of Address Notice to DMV, Attn: Update Address, 600 New London Ave, Cranston, RI 02920, or bring it to any branch. No fee.
- Your license: Print the new address on the back in the space provided; replacement costs are in the DMV Fee Table.
- New registration certificate: File an Application for Registration (TR-1) for each and pay the fee from the DMV Fee Table.
- AAA members: License address changes can also be done at a AAA branch.
