Ava's answer
Maryland law requires reporting a new address within 30 days for your license and vehicle registration. Most people can do both online in myMVA without a new card.

Steps
4 steps
- Report within 30 days: Required for both your driver license and vehicle registration (Transportation § 13-414).
- Update your license online: Use myMVA or an MVA self-service kiosk; no office visit needed.
- Update your vehicle registration: In most cases online in myMVA, during another MVA transaction, or by contacting the MVA. A new title isn't needed unless you ask for one.
- Changing other details?: Name, weight, height, veteran status or gender designator changes need an appointment. Update a name with Social Security at least 72 hours first.
