Steps
6 steps
- Update within 10 days: Update the address on your Kentucky credential within 10 days of moving.
- Tell USPS first: Update your address with the Postal Service first so your new card reaches you.
- Update online in myDrive: Verify your myDrive account with the Letter ID from a recent KYTC document (or request one by mail, 5-10 business days, or at a Regional office), then change your address.
- Or by mail or in person: Any Driver Licensing Regional Office, or by mail. Every method needs one acceptable proof of address.
- New card by mail: Your updated card usually arrives in 10-15 business days.
- Update your vehicle with the county clerk: Vehicle registration is separate (county clerk change-of-address form) and does not automatically update your title.
