Ava's answer
Colorado lets you change your license/ID/permit address online in myDMV or with form DR2285. No new card is mailed; you attach your own address label. Vehicle addresses are a separate online service.

Steps
5 steps
- Change it in myDMV: Log in to (or create) a myDMV account and change your license, ID or permit address online.
- Or use form DR2285: Print and complete the Change of Address form (DR2285) and mail it or hand it in at a driver license office during an appointment.
- No new card is mailed: Print your own address label (for example a return address label) and attach it to the back of your card.
- Want the new address printed?: Change it while renewing online or in person; in person you buy a new card and get a temporary document until it arrives by mail.
- Update your vehicle separately: Use the 'Change Vehicle Address' online service; registration is handled by your county Clerk & Recorder.
